I plan on draining/changing the coolant in my car shortly and happen to have a couple of gallons of this laying around - http://www.micksgarage.com/proddetails.aspx?pid=1209575&pk=F6130

It's going into my FD2 Type R but from the small amount of info I can find on others doing a flush they have used the OEM Honda type 2 fluid.

Im just wondering is there likely to be much of a difference between the two or should I stick with the Honda fluid?

Tbh, any coolant will work. Honda approved coolant just means Honda have tested it and found no issues with using it.

There;s a text here that might be worth a read http://www.mr2.com/TEXT/HondaCoolant.html
If in doubt, go with approved coolant.

I read another article before hand that was similar mentioning compatibility with aluminium blocks, looks like the Honda fluid may be the best bet to play safe
