    Hi Guys,

Can anyone recommend a riding school in north county Dublin. My daughter has been riding for almost a year in Childvision and as great as they are lessons don't seem to have much structure. Really looking for somewhere that will help her progress as she really loves it.

    Thanks

    I would recommend Thornton Park - www.thorntonpark.ie
First class facilities and excellent instructors.

I've never used them but another to try might be Kilronan in Swords - www.kilronanequestriancentre.ie/

Second the teaching in Thornton, its fantastic, especially if a child is really into learning to ride correctly.

Also think the instructor up in Kilcrea equestrian in donabate is really good - know a few people who switched up to there as its more intimate and has a much friendlier social aspect. Wouldn't rate Kilronan much as the class sizes are too big.

    Third recommendation for Thornton Park!
I lease a horse there and have to say the level of instruction is exceptionally high. They also do clubs on a Saturday for kids who want to learn more about horse care too from simple grooming and tacking up to anatomy and equine first aid. Great spot!
