Nissan Note - light not flashing when locking

Hi there, Strange small problem. When I lock the car with the remote key, the external lihts no longer flash. However, when I unlock it, they still do. Any idea? Thanks, G

Check to see all indicators are working, could be one not and the double flash when locking isn't working but single flash when opening is.

Missus left the boot incorrectly locked overnight... I should have had a closer look... The good news is that it is actually working. I actually didn't know that the lights not flashing meant that a door could be incorrectly closed.
