Hi, I'm looking to build a light commuter for my girlfriend, at the moment she's using the steel tourer and it's a bit clunky for everyday cycling. Ideally I'd get my hands on an aluminium or proper lightweight steel frame that can take a rack and mudguards. Don't mind too much if it's a road or hybrid frame but given the requirements it'd probably be handier with a hybrid frame. The budget is a bit restricted, i.e. <150 for frame and fork but ideally a fair bit less. Size = large with straight top tube or med with a rising one, 56-58cm in road terms.

    Thanks
