I got my iPhone 5 replaced by Apple yesterday via the express replacement service, but since i got it,im constantly getting the "searching" & "No Service" messages in the top corner.

I've tried restoring and setting up as a new phone, which worked for a short while then i got the same messages.
I've also tried the "restore network settings" but that didnt work either.

any ideas what might be the cause? could it be a fault handset from apple?

Yeah i usually have good coverage in my house!

I've just been onto apple, they are going to arrange to get me a new handset.

interestingly,my original iPhone 5 was unlocked by o2,but my replacement handset has been locked by three!!!this has even confused Apple's tech support and their senior Advisors!

I've heard of this happening before on here. Someone inserted a 3 SIM into an unlocked and unregistered iPhone and it locked the phone to 3.
