    could anybody tell me does somebody need a licence and insurance while driving a car in an industrial estate

    AFAIK, if it's an estate with public roads then you almost certainly do. If it's a private estate then I'm not so sure.

    while my friend was driving from one to another factory / unit in an idustrial estate the guards stopped him and asked him to produce , just wondering what the story was thanks for the reply

    Does the public have access to it?I'm guessing yes if the guards were there.

    Just remember worse case sanerio if you knock someone down hurt someone or anything, you could be in trouble if you weren't to have a license or insurance. If your not willing to get a license or pay for insurance, best bet then would be to use a bike. Its not worth the risk to be fair.

    yes it has public acess i know it was probably stupid but the factories are less than 500 metres apart ah well he might just have to suck it up i suppose

    It is better that have insurance as it provide safety to life as well as car.

    Is it better to do look what in the half go to do in as such?
