hi, I need to get a second key cut for my car, nothing fancy with buttons or anything, just a normal one to open/close and run the car. can I just bring in the key I have to a locksmiths for to be copied and programed, (cheaper than dealer), or do I have to bring the car also for programming. thanks

I went to dealer for 99 Yaris key few years back. This is the basic key with immobiliser chip in it.They only charged me 40e. I didn't need the car but had to bring log book.
