Hey, was wondering if someone could tell me the quickest way to get from Marino to DCU. Can't find anything online and getting the 123 to O Connell street and then the 4 up to Collins Avenue seems a bit awkward but so does a 40min walk!! Thanks in advance!

Walking/cycling/driving are the only ways really. Will take you 30-40 mins walking depending on where in Marino you are, which is grand when the weather is nice.

You could walk to Drumcondra in <15 mins and get the bus from there but it's not going to save you much time. Getting the 123 and then bus to DCU from O'Connell Street sounds ridiculous though!

Thanks for the reply! Yeah it looks like walking will be my best bet, could be a long 30-40 mins in that weather! :pac:

My ex-girlfriend lived around there. Cycle/Skate/Run to a bus stop depending on where you live in Marino. I used to get 33s, which seemed alright.

Get the 14 bus on the malahide road and then walk from Whitehall junction. Shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes walk.

What did you decide? I think there's a bus that goes from Clontarf train station that will leave you at the omni in santry..

Decided on walking 5 mins to the end of Griffith Avenue (Beside Home Farm FC) and taking the 16 down to shanowen road and then it's a 8/9 min walk to dcu from there!!

hahaha. It looks worse than it is! I'm only about 1/3 of the way down griffith avenue and the bus only takes a few mins so it's not as bad!

Why don't you just walk the whole way? It's not that far!
