Anyone remember this show?...I saw the entire run, at the time it was the most expensive tv series ever made. Came off the back of Batman and had very similar costumes and themes.

The sets/costumes and production design were all retro 1940's....many of the cars were old, but strangely all the cop cars were Robocop new. lots of use of neon and flouresent and UV reactive lighting....in fact it looks a lot like Batman Forever.

But the real standout episodes were those with Mark Hamill playing The Trickster, I rewatched both of his episodes on Youtube and he is superb!

I was totally blown away by the amazing acting he did, I remembered being blown away in 1991 when I saw those eps. on Sky One, and 20+ years later his acting was immense!

In fact Hamill played several characters in those two episodes, very funny and hugely entertaining....a more hyper version of The Joker, I **highly** recommend you watch those Trickster episodes as they hold up really well.

You'll notice that Hamill reused this character for his voice work on the cartoons and video games where he played The Joker. :)
