interview for the hdip in UL questions?

    so i have an interview for the pde in languages in less than two weeks time. I am wondering can anyone give me any help on what they ask firstly in general and secondly in the foreign languages section. also it says there is a written assignment to do aswell on the letter. what does this entail?
    btw my subjects are irish and french.

    Hi, I just saw this post now. Have been looking for information on this course for weeks! How did you find the interview? Irish is one of my subjects too and I found the questions very random! Hopefully now we'll get good news. But I do know there are only 20 places on offer!!

    Hi guys,

    Just wondering if you have heard anything since the interview? Offered a place or anything?? Have not heard of anyone being offered a place yet but that's not to say there not out.

    Also found the Irish questions very odd as did I with the ESL questions.

    Hi! No word yet from them. I asked the man on the panel how long would it be before we would hear, and he said a month. I did my interview three weeks ago on Tuesday, so I suppose it will be this week or next!

    I just rang them there to see if there was any sign of anything. She said they would be posting them today. Then she asked me my name and checked it up for me. I wasn't offered a place. So disappointed. Hope you fare out better!

    Hard luck that is so disappointing, but you can always apply again next year. They rang me on Friday to tell me I was offered a place and that letters of confirmation would be sent out.

    Congratulations that's brilliant. Hope it goes really well for you. I don't know about applying next year tho, the whole two year thing is really putting me off!
