Learning jquery to learn Backbone

    I know some javascript but i now want to mess around with backbone. Do i need to know jquery well or just a sub set of it; if so could someone direct to a resource to induct me in those parts of jquery just needed for backbone

    From the looks of the Backbone.js documentation, it uses JQuery for DOM manipulation, which is a pretty big part of what JQuery does.

    I,m using your link and the w3 schools website to get to speed on jquery. Would anyone know of similar links for backbone instead of reading some book?
