I don't have time to be training for all them sprint races!!
I think my PB is 33:xx. So, as for sub 30, well that's a way off yet.
(still have to nail my sub 20 5k!)

You say that as if I might know what it was last year. :)

I've a half marathon with a swim/bike warm up the day before. Might do this as a recovery run. :) CL keeps promising to do some baking so I'll turn up hoping. :)

Some cross training followed by a jog, somewhere between 11 and 13 miles long?:) Sounds like a decent warmup, whet your appetite for a proper race :D

This is the first race I had run since I was a kid. Did it in 2011 and ended up joining the club and running the marathon that October.

It's a great race and its honestly a great and friendly club. Proud to be a member :-)

Did the site indicate you'd get an email confirmation?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,610 ✭✭✭yaboya1

I can't remember. It's a while since I signed up. With it being so close now I thought I'd have got a reminder or something. I wasn't worried as I'm sure I entered the correct details but if you're able to check that would be great?

Guys you should have received an email confirmation from active global.

All entrants will receive another email before the race.

If you have concerns first try logging into run Ireland or send an email to info@terenure5mile.com with you name and someone will get back to you within 24 hours.

    Thanks

Looking forward to this one. Only started running last year in March and the Terenure 5 miler was my second ever race, and this year it'll be my first return race, so I have a time to beat. Was a shade under 45 mins last year, hoping to take 5 mins off that this time.

Trampas, take the Tallaght exit, drive toward town, go past the Spawell complex, continue through Templeogue village and another mile or so down you will see Terenure College on your left and Bushy Park on your right.... Keep driving until you see the entrance gate to Terenure College.... Enter here and take next left and then next right

it's €20 for online entry up to 4pm today, and €25 for on the day entry. not sure what time you'd have to be there for though, website says you can collect numbers up to 10am, so presumably you'd have to be there early enough to register too.
