This is a fantastic match up. I can't see Che stopping Cathal's takedowns. Cathal has also evolved with every fight and may well fancy his chances on the feet with Mills too.

    Can't wait.

I'd love to see Pendred take him out on his feet. He has to get the call if he takes this guy out.

You never know a jump in level with regards striking can happen especially in such a strong camp.

Maybe, he'd need to move his head a bit more though or Mills could take it off,Striking seems to be the hardest art to improve on in mma, seems you just cant replace years of boxing or other training as a child.
I'd rather see himm go down the american wrestler type of power striking rather than be too technical about it.

Ambitious turnaround but after his quick KO last night would be disappointed if Neil isn't in the tournament.

Perhaps Neil faces winner in first defense

Yeh had thought that would make sense too and probably more fair for Neil. Just would have been nice to see him compete in the tournament in Dublin.

Neil Seery gets a shot at becoming the first ever CWFC flyweight champion in Dublin on June 1...

Cool behind-the-scenes look at CWFC flyweight title challenger Neil Seery's recent liver-kick KO win over Paul Marin.

Well you were spot on here

"Buchingeris an excellent fighter, great stand up, great subs, he has a lot of experience, anyone thinking this is a walk in the park for mcgregor is looking at this with rose tinted glasses. Mcgregor will have to dig deep for this, its well within him but he will be in the trenches thats for sure."

Five more bouts added today, including Fields v Paraisy and Fadipe v Ling.

Hi lads, thinking about heading to Dublin from Cork for this.
I'm actually a DCU student in oscail (distance) and I've never set foot in the place - lol.

Just wondering about the ticket prices, not sure about MMA ticket prices but they seem a little saucy for a smaller promotion.
TBH I haven't heard of the other fighters except Che and Pendred.

Is it worth the money would you guys say?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 963 ✭✭✭Richy06

Yes. Outside of the UFC, you won't get a higher standard of show in this country tbh.

Yea its 100% worth the money.

Great experience, especially if you have never attended a show before

    ticket(ringside): 50
    Return Train: 40
    Hotel/B&B: 50
    Expenses: ~60

    Talking 200 minimum.

Forget about the cage side seats. Last time I was there, we sat in the cheap seats on the balcony and it was an amazing view. Much better than down beside the cage.

Get a couple of mates together and drive down and back on the same night....or get a bus. That'll knock a nice bit off you're estimate.

    Agreed.

We got ringside seats for the last Cage Warriors event and although they were decent, I couldn't help thinking how much better the view must've been from the cheap seats. We were sat with all Conor McGs mates though and they were great craic.

Cheap seats for us next time. Looking forward to it!

I'd have to go up on my own. Don't know anyone into mma. Might get the air coach and save a few bob.

I think (after being there a good few times) that The Mahony Hall is designed in such a way as there are really no 'bad' seats in it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39 JojoD51

Cage side seats are not the best with photographers in action, not their fault I know, but it can get annoying.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 396 ✭✭The Bored One

I have to agree that the balcony seats are pretty awesome. You're sitting in a balcony looking down at a cage watching amazing displays of fighting and athleticism. The desire to wear a monocle may prove overwhelming.

As of this afternoon there were eight tickets remaining from The Helix. If you haven't bought yours yet, your best bet is probably to see if any of the fighters have a few left.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5 Shanel82

Is there any fighters on here who may have tickets left or how would I get in touch with anyone who has any? Looking for two.

    Cheers
