What I've heard a few lads doing is get a small easy calving AA/HE or the likes, AI your heifers before the main bunch (for say mid Jan calving), run the bull with them to clean up for afew weeks, while your AI'ing the main herd, then run him with them to cleanup there.

We used to have angus heifers out of the milkers and the local butcher would pay any price to get them.
Have angus increased size wise over the years ?
Priestown angus are no1 for angus ;-)
