    I know this is a long shot but it there anywhere on campus you can rent a laptop charger?

    No. That would just be common sense if there was somewhere. The SU have talked about things like this for years but never have.

    Your best bet is to ask on facebook/here/whereever for someone to lend you one for a while.

    You could ask in Click next to the cloak room if he has a universal one to sell you.
