    Uniroyal Rainsports, best road-going rain tire I've come across, not cheap but heaps of grip in both dry/wet, have mine for approx 10/12k miles and they wear really well

    There are countless Tyres available. What's your budget? I'm using Bridgestone Potenza RE050a Tyres in 225/45/17 and TBH I hate them. They're rubbish in the cold and wet. They're noisy, have very stiff sidewalls a d so follow every hump abd bump on the road and they're wearing at an unbelievable rate. They're over€125 each new and totally not worth it. The car came with 4 Infinity Tyres which are like new and TBH I have no idea why I changed them. The were very good in the wet, were very quiet and more comfortable as they has softer sidewalls and I'd bet they'll wear 4 or 5 times longer too...so they're going back on very soon.

    Hankook Ventus Prime 2; good price and great wet grip.

    CJC999, have you checked your alignment? Have you recently fitted them?(allow up to 1000 miles to break them in) I'm surprised to hear such a bad experience as the Potenza's are a well rated tire.

    What miles do you think you will get out if them?

    Thanks

    The first set we had was on my mothers previous car 06 Saab 93 Aero, they were fitted in 2008 and were still on the car when it was sold late last year, still plenty of tread and no punctures/repairs

    Also forgot to mention the tread design is quite nice on them, very unique

    Here's some more food for thought OP;

    http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyres_For/Honda/Accord-CTDi.htm

    The top tyre on that league table for the diesel Accord is the Asymmetric 2;

    However, I have Vredestein Sportrac 5s on my 2.2 Accord, but I'm on 16s, and I can't see them in your size.

    FWIW, a lot of the lads on TypeAccord have good things to say about Falkens.

    HTH.

    Got the handkook @ 120 euro each, they are great on the car, I felt they were good value for money too

    I'd have to disagree on the wear factor. We've had them on a 05 2.2 ctdi accord and after 18 months the fronts are toast, down to the indicators. This is with pretty low mileage and mainly urban driving with the occasional long journey.
    The engine is very heavy in the accord and I completely forgot to rotate them (yes, I am a dumbass). The rears have loads of life left in comparison.

    I'll try the Hankook Ventus V12 next.

    Oh the Uniroyal were good in the wet while they lasted fwiw but longevity is definitely not their strong point imo.
