    Hi all,
I would like to get the latest android os on my HTC Sensation XE. Can anyone recommend a ROM and post a link to the instructions they used to achieve this.
    Thanks,
    Adam

Cm10.1 works pretty well. I'm using it at the moment and have had no problems.

Have you root/running a custom rom already?

Nope. I am completely new with rooting. Never done it before.

This is the guide I used, if you are having problems, one of us here should be able to set you straight.

Oh and you'll need s-off to install the new rom so you will need to do the wire trick, sounds difficult but actually is fairly simple. Theres another guide here.

I also use this rom, its the best JB roms I have used and I have tried pretty much them all. I have been using this rom since the early stages and its progressing very quickly with constant updates. It is 100% usable and feels smoother and more user friendly than any other Jb rom I have used.

    To flash it:
Download and put on sd card
    Boot in recovery
    Wipe data/ factory reset
Install rom from sd card: select the rom and then hit yes
    Wait for it to install
Press ok and then install the GAPPS
    Reboot phone
    Be amazed

Must I install s-off before I do the above?

I just installed Venom ViperS on my XE yesterday.

It's not Jellybean, but very stable, and lots of noticeable improvements over stock rom. May also be worth looking at.

Used this tutorial to install it, as my HBOOT was 1.27 which doesn't work with Revolution.

    That's a mental way to get S-off!

    Can't believe it works!

For me to get my old WFS done I had to get it done with an XTC Clip....

sorry for the late reply but, you can flash roms without being s-off if you use 4ext as your recovery and turn smart flash on.

Hi there, I have just installed it. How do I get OTA updates for the ROM? There is no update thingy under settings > about phone.
There is a cyanogenmod updater in the play store, do I use that to update?

    Thanks
