Wireing Diagram for fire alarm systems?

would anyone have a wiring diagram for the way the fire alarm cable is ran i.e. feeding Bgu,sounder,smoke/heat detector over 3 rooms. this is for an exam so i would like to study the diagram if anyone had one to hand they would be a really helping me out. thanks in advance Ross.:D
