    It appears that someone is camping on my old username on twitter. I'm trying to convince the good people of twitter support to re-instate my account. Don't seem to be having much luck frankly and that's kinda pi$$ing me off.

    Anyone got some advice for me on how to handle this? Going from one online form to the next is mindboggling. Anyone have the same experience before?

    Change you password on the account that twitter p/w reset emails are sent to.

    No access to that email account. I don't even know what account it was.

    In that case, I don't see how you can possibly think that the Twitter account is "yours".

    Someone apparently hijacked my Twitter account last year - God knows how.

    I deleted their few tweets and changed passwords.
