Moving house this weekend and The new house has a storage heater in the hall.

The landlord said she generally advises to turn it on in the winter. She said she has a deal wit the electricity that after 12 in summer and 11 in. Winter the units are half price for this appliance (meter installed). She said to turn it on at night and off in the morning and it will provide heat for the day. Take the bite out like rather than heat the house I'm assuming.

I've never used or seen one before so does anyone have any info on it or how much they cost. Run?
