It may seem like a bargain but IMO you could buy all the items mentioned in the ad for well under €145 if you shopped around.
Your own fresh bought and cooked food would probably taste nicer as well

I wouldn't have room for it, I presume it is all sent in one big batch and is frozen?

Bear in mind groupon usually take a 50% cut, so the company is effectively giving you "69 meals, 28 snacks, 4 treats" for €62.50

This would genuinely turn my stomach. I only buy and eat food that's as fresh as can be so the thought of pre-buying food like this doesn't seem natural at all. Regardless of what diet or eating plan you choose to follow, health and good nutrition is all important. It may seem like good value but if you buy seasonal produce and shop around (farmers markets etc, Lidl for your veg) then cook these dishes yourself at home, you don't have to overspend at all. You're also guaranteed freshness as opposed to have these things packaged in Scotland and posted over. It just seems wrong :(

    • 28 unique low carb breakfasts
    • 34 lunches
    • 7 dinners

how is that even near 28 days worth of food?

you'd have to make/buy another 15 dinners just to make it 3 meals a day, and it doesnt give any details of serving sizes or calorie content.

What's with the negativity here? If the food was made fresh, then being frozen really doesn't change it's health benefits. That's kinda the point of freezing, isn't it? to preserve food long-term. One benefit I can see out of this is it can teach people who are really bad at portion control (eg me) how much they should be eating in a meal to get a certain number of calories. Second, it will give someone interested in bulking a good idea of meal ideas for upping their protein. Sure, it definitely doesn't add up to a full month's eating, but it looks like a decent start to me. If someone is starting out on watching their nutrition, I think this would be a better investment than a couple tubs of protein powder.

People are giving very fair warnings, thats all I see.

Sounds too good to be true to me, so I would not like to see people here buy it without realising the possible downsides.

My first warning was about groupon taking 50% and so you cannot really expect much for that sort of money, esp. when it includes postage, if they are transporting frozen food from the UK I would expect it to be a lot of that €62.50.

After the groutch's comments I checked again and can see no mention of portion size anywhere on their site. So my warning about space in your freezer might be a non issue...
