Your being very conservative there....I think we'll get more than 2 points against swansea, Man city, stoke and southampton.

Definitely don't think 66 points is enough... Definitely think we'll get more then 66 points...

One thing I know for definite is that whenever something is definite with spurs, it definitely won't go as you expect.

    P.S. . . DEFINITELY

Obviously i dont really expect these results...trying to do them as a nuetral...... Every game we play im always confident of a win.... but im being a devils advocate here....
Can someone throw up the premier league predictor thingy that does be floating around... the one where you predict your remaining fixtures and the results you predict, compile the finished league table..ta.

    Arsenal 1 - Everton 1
    Fulham 1 - Arsenal 2
    Arsenal 1 - Man Utd 1
    QPR 1 - Arsenal 1
    Arsenal 3 - Wigan 0
    Newcastle 2 - Arsenal 1

    Total 68 points

Jaysus that's close and it could come down to the last game. If so, let's hope that Newcastle's keeper does a better job than West Brom's last year!!

It is going to be very close and that is why I think we have majorly f*cked up, we had to get 3 pts against Fulham. That loss is going to cost us big time IMO and is a shockingly bad defeat when looking at our remaining games :(

It is definitely looking dodgier after the Fulham game, but there is no point crying over spilled milk before its spilled. Lets just hang in there and hope for the best.

and a nice easy looking nine points in the next 3 games.

    Home to Everton
    Away to Chelsea
    Home to Man City.

On a serious note I think we need three points from Everton who have a couple players suspended. Def cant lose to Chelsea, draw very acceptable.

Congrats to Leinstersqspur who was the only one of us who managed to get both the result and score correct. He's got us down for a 3-1 win against Everton next week.

5 wins and a draw from the 7 remaining games will be enough for us and to be honest it is very much achievable. The next three games are huge but there is absolutely no need to fear any of them.

To me if we go into each game concentrating on controlling them as we have done for most of the season then there is no reason why we cant finish with 6/7 wins.

Oh and give the ball to bale. That always helps

Don't like the look of the next three games. We could avoiding losing in all three and still end up outside the top 4. (3 draws). Delighted with yesterdays result but Swansea only turned up for half a game.

All season we have been producing countless goal opportunities and bemoaning our lack of finishing but in the Liverpool, Fulham, inter x 2 and Swansea matches we have created a lot less chances then normal and that's a major concern.

Results vs Liverpool and Fulham would have allowed us to drop points at Citeh and/or Chelsea but now we need an absolute minimum of 5 points from 9

Next 3 now will be Everton (H) City (H) and Wigan (A). The Chelsea game will be played in May I am guessing especially if either of us makes Europa semis.

I like the look of that a lot better.

should be going for 6 points from 9 now, which still isnt enough with Arsenals game in hand but I'd take that right now if I was offered it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,951 ✭✭✭SuprSi

Arsenal's game in hand is against Everton, so that's no walk in the park. I agree that we should be looking at 6 points at a minimum and I believe we can beat City at home. If we could win our home games, which in itself would be massive, anything from the Wigan game would be huge.

We should be going for 9/9.
Should be beating Everton at home.
City will be tough but i fancy us against anyone at home, hopefully United turn city over next monday night.
Wigan are good at this stage of the season as always, but we should be able to do them on the break.

Saturdays win was huge for me, confidence for a lot of our lads is important, and that should get us back in the right frame of mind for the run in.

    COYS

Yeah, first things first - lets beat Everton and put some distance between them and us.

Cant look up a EPL table on my mobile at the moment but if United beat Man City next Monday and we beat them the following weekend - what will be the points difference between them in 2nd and us in 3rd (hopefully)? 2 points I think?

If the above comes to fruition (utd beat city and we beat city the following sunday) and providing we beat everton this coming sunday..we will go a point above city in to 2nd but they will have a game in hand.

I reckon your predictions are about right had we lost to City we would have been lucky to hit 66 points.

Now however, I can actually feel a bit of magic in the air. Maybe it's wishful thinking but I think we have a good chance if we win the next two coming into the Chelsea game.

After the City game, most fans are feeling this way. And if the fans are feeling it, the players MUST BE! It's that extra spring in the step that we need right now.

In the Skysports studio before the game, the pundits were going on about the feel around the ground was that of despair, "eventuality" that we were going to come up short.....Great to knock that myth on the head!!
    Cant wait for tomorrow!!!!
