Without any shadow of a doubt the old volcanic earthquake hit historical capital of Guatemala, Antigua (the city not the island). An amazing place, live music/shows on the streets , history, cobbled streets, earthquake damaged classical historical buildings you can tour, fabulous views.

Jacksonville in Florida. Beautiful weather all year round and endless beaches. Perfect location to rest the feet for a few weeks

Fjord Norway or the Maldives, as close to paradise as you'll find.

Bahh to all these cold places.

Thailand. Lying in 24 Degree seawater at 3am at night looking up at the stairs appearing out of no where in the sky

California if you can afford it or Brittany - a bit like Ireland only warmer and sunnier in the summer months.

+1 for Thailand, but id recommend 2 weeks instead of 1, so much to see and do.

Give or take the odd gust of wind during the hurricane season.

Great call, a week in Antigua followed by a week at lake atitlan, staying at the stunning la casa del Mundo hotel, built in the cliff edge of the lake

South Island, New Zealand. You will need two weeks. Best visited in summer unless you are a skiier. North Island is worth a look while you are there.:)

The Ha Giang-Dong Van-Meo Vac road in Northern Vietnam.. I've done it twice and my mate here did it for the third time last week. I'll go back again this summer.

I can't imagine a better mixture of incredibly dramatic scenic beauty while on great motorbike roads and that's why people come from all over the world to drive it.

Thailand without a shadow of doubt, making my third trip to this piece of paradise this year.

Another one here for Vietnam. A road trip from south up north finishing at halong bay is what I would recommend, incredible haunting scenery, great food and lots of places of historical note.
