Felt Bicycles

Every stockist of Felt in the country seems to be very low on stock. I'm in the market for a new road bike up to €1200 and was looking for a Z85 or F75. Beautiful frames and looks like there are some good deals out there, but only in small frames. I need a 58cm and can't find one anywhere, the Eurocycles site says 'low stock' but I called them and they have none left.

I need to use a LBS with my BTW scheme so can't go for Canyon, if anyone knows of any of these Felts around the country I'd love to get my hands on one, really love the design!

Haven't seen any 2013 range released anywhere yet, and heard a rumour that Felt are pulling out of the Irish market :(

Eurocycles were the Irish distributor for them but not anymore. I dont think they have a new one, just UK. City cycles used to do felt, give em a call to see if they have old stock. You will get much better value than a felt though so might not be worth your trouble.

wheelworx in liffey valley might be worth a call. They have plenty any time I'm in there.

I'm pretty sure Mike's Bikes in Dun Laoghaire have a Z85 in 58cm.
For what it's worth, I've been using one the last 2 years (I got mine on Wiggle) and I'd recommend it highly, it's a great bike.

Was out with them already :(

Called them there, no cigar. He's calling Raleigh who used to import them but I don't hold much hope. So annoying! Wish I was shopping for one six months ago!

Just read this - hopefully this means we'll see more Felts coming into the country in the next few months!

The bike shop in Carlow where the food stop on the Leinster Loop was last summer had a big stock of Felt bikes back then, might be worth a phone call.

Try ringing Nigels Cycles in Galway, he carries a good deal of stock and most of the Felt range. He does a lot of BTW sales so should have the one your after. It's only a couple of hours drive down the motorway.

What makes would you recommend as better value than Felt?
    Cheers.

I'd recommend Canyon and Rose if you can use online stores but not sure in LBS. Best offer with 105 set that I got was the Cube Peloton Race for €1300.

I was in Buckleys Cycles in Athlone a couple of months ago and they had a 58cm Z85 that wasn't on the shop floor and hadn't been put together yet....so give them a call and see if they still have it. 09064 78989

Scott speedster 20 in LBS is also €1300,same spec, but the Scott brand has better prestige.

the scott is an aluminum frame, you can get a full carbon 105 rose, with far better wheels for that price. i guess it depends on how much stock you put in people recognising the brand of bike you're on, but there are quite a few rose owners on here now, and the reports are glowing.

I have an F75 bought from Tri-Bikes in Limerick about a year ago. Not sure what their stock levels are like now but they had a good selection and were very helpful. They have a shop in Loughrea too if that suits you better.

That rose is internet only at the price I presume?

Yup, Internet only. Hence the spec for the price. Plus just spotted its only 1 size. You may have to look at 2013 models

Still looking for one of these lads (F75 or Z85 in 58cm) if anyone has any ideas.

I tried to put in an invoice for a canyon but workplace won't pay it via bank transfer, just a good old fashioned cheque!

So if there are any other suggestions for something close to the spec and price tag of the Canyon Roadlite AL 6.0 in a bricks and mortar store that someone can recommend that would be great!

The Bike Shop in Wexford had a new B2 built up today. Not sure what their stock is like, worth a call.
