How/Where to Sell Handmade Cards?

Total newbie to this and just wondering how or where is best to sell handmade cards?

I set up a shop on Etsy but don't want to have to pay loads of listing fees if I don't sell! Also, approx how many pics/types of cards should I show? Obviously I need to show a good range but, again, don't want to get stung for listing fees!!

Any advice or tips would be very welcome

If you check out the forums on http://www.docrafts.com regarding selling handmade cards you will get a lot of information from those who have been doing it for years. I believe cardmakers are getting a better response from selling on Facebook these days although Etsy is still a good place but the charges are mounting up. There is a lot of competition out there these days for handmade cards and combined with the fact that you can now buy cards for as little as €1 in shops (even Easons have great bargains in cards now), You need to offer something really special to get anything like the money back that you have spent on supplies. Best of luck!
