    Barracuda Men's Vantos Road Bike - White/Blue (Wheel 700C, Frame 22 Inch)

Spotted on HUKD.. quite well reviewed for a "budget bike" with Shimano gears and a lightweight aluminium frame.

Another ParcelMotel job (an extra €7 per 10kg.. and boxed weight is 16kg) but will still work out a helluva lot cheaper than the £80 Amazon are charging for shipping to ROI.

Need a new bike, and this is mighty tempting tbh!
    Lightweight 22" alloy road frame
Shimano TZ35 21-speed gear with Shimano EZ-Fire shifters
    700C road fork
Verismo 700C profiled alloy rims with 700x38C tyres
    Alloy dual-pivot brakes
Alloy seat post and 90mm A-Head style alloy stem
28Tx38Tx48T Chain set with alloy cranks
    Padded sports saddle
    Steel cage pedals
    Suit ILM: 32" - 37"

INteresting, I'm trying to find some reviews...anyone know if it is a good bargain at that price?

Interested as well, had been thinking of getting a bike to try get fit.

Actually am unsure if there'd be anything extra to ParcelMotel..
For example, if you collect an oversized parcel weighing 20kgs from the Nightline Finglas depot, you will not have to pay anything other than the original Parcel Motel charge of €3.50.

Presumably you won't have to pay for it to be forwarded to one of their alternative depots.

I'm sure you're right Basq. The extra charges are incurred if you chose to get nightline to forward the package from the depot to your house.

At that price, its definitely a good deal, particularly for a starter.

If you pick it up from one of their depots there's no additional charge beyond the usual €3.50 according to @Parcel Motel:Orla

"We can send it to our Nightline depot in Oranmore for no extra charge. We have Nightline depots in Belfast, Sligo, Galway, Cork, Waterford, Limerick, Kerry and Dublin. "

If you want it delivered to your home the bike will cost an additional €10.50 ie €14.00 in total

EDIT: I forgot about dimensional weight !

If dimensional weight exceeds actual ,then dimensional is used LxDxH/3000

EG: A bike in a box. 'say its approx dimensions are 4' x 3' x 8". This translates to 120x90x20. Calculate this out and you get 216000/3000= 72(kgs)

So the first 36kg is €3.50. Then add €3.50 for every further 10kgs totalling approx €17.50. Still a good price (all in) IMO.

Yeah, you're still talking about €135 - €140 all in.

Great value... not sure whether to take the plunge or not.

22" frame seems ideal for me too.. hmmmm...

EDIT: €444 on Littlewoods... not suprising though.. bloody rip-off merchants!

And with that goes my decision to purchase! :(
