Volunteering

    Hi everyone.

I'm currently in my second year of psychology, and am hoping to go into either clinical, counseling or occupational therapy.

I'm just wondering about volunteer work, I'm volunteering for the Aware helpline but was hoping to get involved in something else as well.
I'm finding it very difficult to find related voluntary work that isn't abraod or doesn't require a degree.

I don't know if it's possible to do this without my undergrad degree yet, but I just thought it wouldn't hurt to ask :)

Thank you so much in advance :)

rain hat, this thread is four years old. I don't think any of the posters will even recall it :D

Now that the thread has been restarted, it's good timing because it saves me starting a new one. Where is the best place to obtain research experience? I'm thinking of asking my lecturers if anyone needs help over the summer, though I don't want to come across as if I'm attempting to sway results or anything. Is there any other organisations that would take an undergraduate that has just completed their four years?
