    Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has tried this? So Windows 7 on an M4 SSD and then I was going to stick the program files & user data on a standard harddrive, but in the last week I've been thinking if I bought a second SSD and had just the program file on it and just use the standard HD for user data/video/music etc It would be a lot quicker?

Has anyone done this? Will it work? Any downside?

    Thanks

I have windows and all my small programs on a 64gb ssd. There's at least 20-30 programs installed and I still have over 30gb free. I just moved the downloads folder to a separate hdd. Games are on another hdd. Video and music on another hdd.

You can save 8gb of ssd space by reducing the virtual memory from the default of 10gb to 2-3gb. You can save another 5gb by disabling hibernation.
