I tell you, one of my neighbours is such a nosey git.

Was walking into my estate last week and I look up and see him tapping about in one of his bedrooms. So whatever, I just keep walking. I come to my gate and as I am stepping over it I see him staring out the window at me. Hands on window sill and face against the glass :pac:

... and just there a few minutes ago a helicopter was flying over the area for a while. I go to close the window and who do I see? :pac: Nosey neighbourineo walking out of his house, head gawking to the sky in all directions to try and see the helicopter :pac: Walks right to the middle of the road then just walks back in... brilliant. lol.

Of course this is the same nosey neighbour who asked "are you working?" etc etc about a year ago  to which he got fobbed off responses to.

Anyone else got people like this living beside them?

I live next door to this guy who thinks he's Mr T from the old A-Team tv show. Very aggressive guy but I try to keep an eye on him to make sure he's not up to no good.

It really is my own mistake for posting this, isnt it? :pac:

I cant believe I forgot the "the golden rule" of After Hours: that if you post something on here, people have to get back disagreeing with you. Doesnt matter what it is ...

Seriously, what happened to after hours? and i'm not talking about this thread either. If it isnt slagging the public sector or people on the dole or unmarried mothers its a "stupid thread" filled with crappy witty replies.

We had a Nosy neighbor who died a few years back. While he was alive
we did not know his name so we refereed (and still refer) to his house as Nosy's house.

He watched everything and complained about everything. If people did not take in their bins he would be out reading the stickers to find out the names of the house owners.

There was two dogs running around the place that I used to pet from time to time and Caught him snooping around the side of my house once looking for Kennels and he called to the door about to complain about them running about thinking they were mine.

He used to give out to the kids for playing football on the green, I'll never know the reason why but saw him trying to confiscate some make shift goal posts one evening. He objected to builders driving their trucks when the estate was still new, he gave out to the the workers for cutting the grass leaving tire marks when the ground might have been still wet.

He would constantly see & watch everything.
I would be watching him watching me watching him :D

I will say though he was a handy neighbor to have while he was still alive.
He was Home all day long, watched everything so anytime there was unsavory types scoping out houses he would be on alert.

I can see me turning into him! (minus the complaining)

Basically it means the same as "pissing about" & yeah I stepped over my gate :P it's a basic 3 foot high gate. It's not like i am 7ft5 and stepped over a mssive gate :pac:

We've a few curtain twitchers around my parents house. We had to call an ambulance a few years back, half the street was out. Some helping and concerned, most just staring and whispering.

My apartment is ok, except the family on the ground floor come out and stare whenever a car comes into any of our spaces.

People should just stay in one room with no windows so as to keep the collective happy, shudder to think some day or night your neighbour might look out and see you getting the shiit kicked out of you or your house on fire and make the call.
