I have it and I like it.
Moving the pin or target around can be a bit fiddly, but use a tee or something.
I get maybe 3/4 rounds out of a charge...the only annoying thing is the lack of holder to attach it to your cart, its comes with a clip on thing but its a bit awkward imo.

    Holders are ~€40 online

Very good, you can record your stats on it too? Is that correct?

You can but honeslty I have never bothered...its a bit painful to do it, again using a tee.
I just use Golf Shot once I get home...

Its very handy that it has 40,000 courses pre loaded, it even has mapped out the 6 practice holes at my course.

It has all the distances to hazards, and sometimes "important" features like big trees, but also you can add in your own, which is nice.

Me too I have all 40 rounds on my Golf Shot on my iPhone, I find it brilliant to track my stats. I feel I need to get one to make my approach better to greens, play 3 or 5 wood off the tee so leaves me a full shot in. Knowing exactly the distance

Honestly I dont really use it to leave myself a "nice" distance...probably because I dont have nice distances yet...(see my other thread!)

I do use it a lot for judging short distances to the pin as 60M can look like 40 or 80M to me some days.

Its also great for laying up so that you *know* you cant make the hazard if you hit X club, versus laying up and hitting a beaut straight into it... :(
