Hi...thinking of heading to Les Charmettes on the west coast of France this summer. Just wondering if anyone has been and if they would recommend it. Have two children aged 4 & 5. Also did you find it a long drive from Cherbourg?
    Thanks!

Hi ETMD. went there late june 2012 with wife n 2 kids 8+4. Its a great site, very big with lots to do.Bike hire on site also. 3 fab pools with slides and an indoor one as well. kids club kept the wee ones entertained and it has a large indoor auditorium for evening shows.Restaurant, 2 bars and take away all at the park. We have stayed in 4 other siblu sites and this was the best by far.Site is very popular with irish so the kids will meet plenty of friends. It has a large but pricey shop but the usual large French supermarkets are nearby. Drive is nt too bad 6hrs or so. Going to Rhone valley this june otherwise we would defo go back to les charmettes.
