best moderator

30cal....

just wondering which moderator would be best to fit onto my tikka t3 lite in 308 i want to keep it as light as i can or would i be better to put a t8 on it for less kick

The sonics are better(quieter) than the A-tec IMO and e100 cheaper.

Was talking to Dom Byrne yesterday he is getting in the Third Eye Tactical Spartan mod soon I have the Roedale & T12 they are both good but would like something as effective as the T12 but much lighter,I believe the Spartan is that mod.

I've got a sonic 45 .30cal it's as quiet as the T8 and only half the weight.its strippable two so its easy to keep clean

It says the Titan is 28-32 Db, anyone have any data on the other mods db?

The T4 and T8 Reflex Suppressors typically reduce peak noise exposure of the shooter from the usual unsuppressed

I ordered one of the spartan mods with him, my brother has a ase utra with the same thread as my gun so we could do a sound comparison when i get the mod

I have a standard Atec mod, CMM-4ALU, and a T8. I have to say the T8 is far better than the ATec model I have, in both noise reduction and felt recoil.
Would love to compare to athe Maxim Titan to see what difference there was.

No problem the spartan is for a 220 swift and the my brothers gun is a 223 so his ase utra is a .25cal

If you ever come across a Maxim Titan let me know. 600euro new I believe. I could go let a shot out of my T8 tonight and she could let a big loud pitchhh noise, I could go a different night and fire in same location and all I might hear is the firing pin and a thud. Personally different days give different levels of noise of the round breaking the sound barrier. I strongly think air pressure and winds have alot got to do with this and some might laugh but its very true. Takes a while to judge a mod from another. It would have to be done the same day would you agree Mauser?

Agree totally, Might be a little while before I can get one though .
It would be hard to swallow if you got one for 600 squids and realised the T8 was better :eek:

Well its a top make silencer and its very rare but it will be around for a long time where a T8 will have its day. I'd love to have one but for half the money I recon I have the same performance for the Reflex T8. Which will you buy?
