do you not fixed time ai her 48 and 72 hours after removal of coil, did you estrumate her before coil came out, what instructions did the vet give?

Thanks for the reply. We have followed vet's instructions, but were to AI after signs of heat. No advice from vet regarding fixed time AI. The straws are very expensive so would be concerned to AI without proof of heat. Any way to verify silent heat?

How long is she calved? Does she have a calf on her? how old is she? Did you get her scanned? We cidr'd 3 cows recently and none seemed to come around so we fixed timed them. will let you know in a month or so.
It is worth scanning prior to coiling them. Purebreds tend to be awkward at times to get in calf.

serve her regardless of seeing any sign of heat!!! silent heats are common after cidrs but does'nt mean they don't ovulate.
