Does anyone know who's in charge of "filtering" the emails to the NUIG accounts?
I've to see about getting a [SUSPICIOUS MESSAGE] tag removed from some emails...

I keep on getting that prefix on the subject titles of your ChessSoc emails. I had a quick dash through Outlook Web App there and I couldn't find anything to switch them off on your own mailbox, and even if there is I don't think there's much you can do to stop the tag appear on other peoples inbox; apart from stop using random subjects with sexual innuendos in them, of course...

I'm not convinced that "innuendos" is the right word...

"I have hidden lace knickers within this email."

    Seems pretty indirect, but obvious...

I don't think that qualifies as innuendo. It lacks a certain subtle element.

Quite right, I said that in autopilot stupidly enough.

We been getting this with club emails too. Got on to ISS to try get it sorted but the odd email still gets flagged.

    They said;
The suspicious message title is due to the links contained within the email. Cisco oversee website security FYI:

Q: What does this message mean?
A: This means that the website you are trying to access is deemed to be infected by Malware.

Q: How is this Malware detected?
A: The college proxy service uses a 3rd party service provided by CISCO, which actively rates all internet sites. If a site has been found to be infected by Malware, the site receives a low score. The proxy service then stops you from visiting this site for your own protection

Q: Can the college remove this block?
A: No. It's the responsibility of the web site owners to ensure that their site contains no harmful content.

Q: How is the block removed?
A: CISCO will actively re-visit these sites on a regular to see if the site's status has changed. Once the site has been deemed to be safe, it will receive a higher score and will then be accessible once more.

Q: The site owners claim their site is not infected
A: The main web site may be clean, but sub-sections might now be. For example, the website: http://www.acme.com is accessible, but the URL: http://www.acme.com/sales is blocked. This is because the rating system blocks only the unsafe parts of the site, not the whole site. Similarly, one server may host many websites, and only the infected sites will be blocked

I tried to show that the only links were to Google Docs forms but was told that
we have no control over the Cisco rating
