    Hi,

Came across this piece of toy in parents attic. I assume it's from the 80's when i was growing up, the picture is attached.

I've only the 1 piece i could find (this triangle, edge is about 1.5 inches) but if i remember right there use to be different shapes and obviously lots more in order to make things.
My memory is vague but think it's a space related toy, and i think there was a globe or dome made with some pieces.

Pieces were held together with grey squares, and tough as sh1t to put together and take apart.
These grey square pieces had 4 dimples on them, it was slightly flexible in the middle so adjacent pieces could be at angles to each other.
If you look at the picture on the left you can see part of the grey piece which held them together. It's broken as well which i assume was when i lost the head with it:)

I've looked up retro toys on the net but can't see anything like this but then again it's hard to narrow the search.

    Any help would be great.

That's not a toy, it's the wing-nut of a spaceship which collided with a combine harvester in a field in Termofeckin back in the summer of 1956.... I think.

    You could well be right:D

OP, there's a few construction toys you could complete a search for.
Meccanno being the obvious one- others include Lego Technics, Construx, Erector.
