Waste plastic storage

I am due to have a bord bia audit soon and one of the issues that has arose from my last audit was that "waste plastic was controlled but inadequate provision for storage exists". I have silage wraps which are in a neat pile in the yard which i get collected in may. I also keep old fertilizer bags in a shed (usually for turf use) old torn ones are again collected in may.

What kind of waste plastic plastic storage do you have?

Think most ppl just have 4 old pallets tied together to make a square with a bit of rope

Seen mentioned somewhere else before ppl using the metal cages off of damaged IBC@s

I would not be too worried if that is all they could come up with last time!

    Ton meal bag.
Hang on barrier or hooks near feeders.
When it's full tie all loops together and lift away With loader.

+1 for ton bag i hook mine up a couple of feet from floor with wall hooks
and when it is full just lift it off hooks with shear grab (very tidy job)

How often do you dispose of the full one ton meal bag? I usually just get mine collected in may once a year to save on costs.

I use an old round feeder to store the silage plastic.

I use an old round feeder to store the silage plastic.

    Same here.

We had Bord Bia inspection in January and plastic storage did'nt come up in comments so it must have been acceptable.
