    Looking to buy van for new business less than €1000 to spend

    Something like Peugeot Partner , - Caddy - Berlingo etc.

    Anyone know bargains out there - as I don't know all the different type of vans on the market .

    Cheap on fuel / diesel / tax required

    You could pick up a 01 or 02 caddy tdi for about a grand. tdi are more economical and are not dead like non tdi. fairly reliable in that year. I personally would not buy a non turbo diesel as you would be better off on a mopehead.. As regards tax every commercial vehicle is the same regardless of engine size, its around 300 a year for tax plus you need to do a doe test every year which is around 85 euro, so altogether around 380 a year as long as you fly through you test. Whatever van you go for have a good look for rust, cracked windscreen, cracked lights,no lights on in dash etc because you dont want to be buying these when your doe comes around. Oh and never buy a van without a doe......
