Hi folks. I'm hoping to buy a nikon P510 but prices are still way too high here despite the introduction of the P520.

I missed the boat with amazon uk so the next cheapest place is pixmania.ie

I have never dealt with them before... are they ok to deal with?

Also, if you can suggest any retailer in the Dublin area with this camera priced sub €300, I'd prefer to spend my money here but cheapest I've found to date is around €370.

The P510 is currently £247 (about €290) on Amazon with free postage. Its 289 + 10 postage on pixmania. Personally I would go for Amazon, pixmania are fine when everything goes right but when something goes wrong the have horrible customer service. Do a quick search in the Consumers Issues section and you will find plenty of threads on it.

Problem is I was hoping to get a black one but Amazon's one at that price is gunmetal.

My friend has the black model which is a nice matt finish. I don't know if anyone here can help as I've never seen the gunmetal but in the photos online it looks like a gloss finish. Not a huge issue but I hate finger marks on glossy electronic products.
