Anyone make knives?

Just wondering if anyone on here makes their own knives for hunting/utility use about the house?

I have decided to go into this side of things recently, as I've never worked with steel before I'm going to stick with pre made knife blanks and making my own handles.

So does anyone have experience in doing this and where would you suggest I buy my blanks, pins, tools I need? I'm looking at the UK as it's quite tough to find anything available online for Irish shops.

    :) Thanks!! :)

My OH does this, and buys most of his stuff from brisa. They have nice kits that you can start out with.. It's very enjoyable but time consuming. :)
