Wacky Rally

    I am thinking of doing the wacky rally this year. Has anyone ever done one of these that could give thoughts, advice, tips, costs etc?

    The one that Im looking at is from Lille in France to Barcelona over 4 days. Car cannot cost anymore than £300. They have a FAQ section but Im interested in anyone that has actually done one of these before.

    I have done 4 of them. Went to Italy twice (Rimini and Rome), Spain (Madrid) once and Norway (Bodo) once. The first rally we did was 2006 and the last one was in 2010. The version we did was the Scally Rally which is now defunct sadly. The car had to be bought for a very low price (£100 IIRC) but there was no limit on what you could spend prepping it for the rally. Is it the same with this one?
