Does anyone know where I'd get something like this in Ireland?

I need them for a costume. It'll need to be 14 inches and no less, more would be alright as I could take them up. I'm nearly sure I've seen some girls wear something similar, but, since I'm a guy, I have no idea where to look for them.

Oh my god haha, they're a blast from the past!

My best friend used to wear them all the time. I think she had to get hers online in the end, and I'm sure she would have looked in every shop in Dublin for them.

You will end up in St Itas if you try to buy them.

If you, or someone you know, is handy with a needle and thread (or even some tape), you could try calling into some of the material shops, such as Hickeys, and see if they have some material from which you could make them...

They're very easy to make. Other than that, there's a shop in Georges St. Arcade (on the left if you come in from the Georges St side) that does them. It used to be called showco. Not sure what it's called now.

I instantly started singing, 'Apple bottom jeans, boots with the furrrrr'

Total blast from the past! Glad they're for a costume :)

    Might get them here: http://www.thisnext.com/browse/furry/boots/

I actually bought some of these recently for hen party costumes. There are loads of them on ebay - look for furry boot covers. The ones I got were cheap too and I think there was an option of lengths.
