When are Casual Dockets Paid ?

I recently changed from JA to Casual. My last JA payment was on March 5th and my dockets began March 6th to March 12th and I left it in on March 13th. That week I only worked one day. I thought I might have got a cheque today but no sign and as it's a long weekend it will be next Tuesday before I can contact SW. By then it will have been 2 weeks since my last JA payment and only got one days wages during that time.

Does anyone know if I can expect my cheque on Tuesday and will it be for 2 weeks or do I lose a weeks money?

    Thanks

You should get a cheque next week to cover the period 6-12 March. With casual you are paid a week behind.

Well I'd have been left waiting for the cheque. Still no sign of it today so while dropping in my second docket I enquired about it and was told I had never been changed over to casual and was still on J.A and my money had been in the post office last week and this week. This is despite the fact I had left in all the required paperwork and was told my last J.A payment would be on March 5th and I left in a casual docket last week.

The very nice guy in the DSP office advised me to collect my J.A payment as I hadn't been paid for 2 weeks and the overpayment would be deducted from my first cheque and he ''would look into it for me''

They have me hounded to find more work but someone in their office is not doing their , job give it to me and I'd gladly do it.
