Change from BTEA to Jobseekers Allowance

I was originally on Jobseekers Allowance and started college and am currently on Back to Education Allowance. If I was to drop out of college now could I switch back to Jobseekers Allowance and if I could, would I have to wait weeks on payment or would it go through straight away? Thanks in advance.
