    Hi all,

I read somewhere that Sky were due to begin doing the red button / interactive stuff on sky sports in HD this week (11th).
Has anyone heard anything on this or can confirm if its started?

I assume it'd be for the F1 at first if they are launching this week but would be great to have NFL Redzone in HD come September!

Nelbert pretty sure redzone is in HD as it's coming in from the States and pretty much all of the sports is sent in HD i think

Didn't think anything on the red button side of things for any sport was in HD?

I think the Americans just do it all in HD so it's standard, if you ask on the AF forum they'd know for sure I'd imagine

Redzone was definetly not in HD on SKY red button last year. It would be great if it was next year.

Pretty sure the only HD red button they've done was the Masters last year.
There is 5 test card HD channels on 11469 H, SID 1421-1425 belonging to Sky.

The rumour was that these were launching on the 11th....... That made a lot of sense when you factor in this was the first weekend of the F1 but it's come and gone now and they are still testing the channels.
All current Red Button feeds are SD only. With the red button part of the logo on the F1 HD channel, you'd think this would be launching soon.

Main thing for me would be the awesomeness of Redzone in HD one one screen and main game and coverage on the other come September!

Agreed Nelbert. For regular season I watch Redzone and it would be awesome to have it in HD.

The Ryder Cup coverage on the red button was in HD, also the games being shown on the main channels in the champions league are shown in HD behind the red button. So they have previous form as well as the Masters which has already been stated.

Well I'd be like a pig in messy stuff! Getting a projector soon so it'd be main game or Redzone (could on project it at the size planned if it was HD) on projector and the other on the tv (same room). Mrs Nelbert will likely have plenty of folks just dropping on Sundays from about lunchtime onwards for HD sportsfests....
Frowned upon to charge mates for the privilege to pay for the projector?
