Audi radio code

    I'm wondering if anyone here can help me out.
    Does anyone know how to get the code for an Audi RNSE unit. Previous owner lost the little card which had it.
    I've read that Audi will say they need to hook up the car and there'll be a charge.
    Whereas I've also read that all thats needed is the radio serial number and VIN and thats all thats needed to get the number.

    Any ideas anyone?

    You will not get the code from a dealership. It is a very complicated radio and you will have to get it professionally decoded.

    Almost everything I've read online says the dealer can get it, or to try justanswer.com.

    Youl local garages will be able to tell you who decodes their radios. This one is very difficult to decode and can be costly.
