Problems with Samsung Galaxy Mini's internal memory

I've a Samsung Galaxy Mini and lately have been getting error messages saying the phone's internal memory is low and so can not receive new text messages. Deleted a fair few and after noticed that the available space was shrinking instead of growing.. I also have a SD card with 1.38 GB of space available so not quite sure…
