Weird dreams about people you know

I don't often remember my dreams, and, when I do, they tend to be a big pile of random. However, I had a dream this morning about a guy that I work with. Now, this guy is in his 50s, jowly, and not somebody I would know particularly well.

I won't go into details, but, well, we knew each other a lot better in the dream.

I woke up afterwards - about two hours before I had to get up for work - with these awful vivid images in my head. I NEVER get out of bed before I have to, but this morning I had to get up and try to exorcise the demons from my brain!

Of course, I ran into this guy several times today, whereas, otherwise, I mightn't see him more than once or twice a week. And all I could think of when we met was his... um... bleugh - nevermind!

I know where the basics of the dream came from 'cause I'd been chatting about sex stuff with some girlfriends that day - but why he had to come into it is beyond me!

Conversely, years ago I had a much more enjoyable dream about a guy I was in college with. I'd never really looked at him that way before I had the dream, but it painted him in a whole new light and we got to re-create it all a while later!

I can't really remember any other dreams about people that coloured the way I'd look at them in real life. I already know my mind is mental, but does this happen to anyone else?

I know where the basics of the dream came from

There's probably some really particular, jarring detail in that dream that holds the signifcance. Probably, 90% of the dream, the plot etc. is just background/ meaningless material. Only you will be able to figure out that little significant detail is!

I've had a few of those too Yellow Feather. There's nothing like waking up blushing! Still, even if it's someone you don't think you are attracted to, at least you had a nice time in your sleep. :)

Or what about dreams where someone annoys you, and you wake up and stay in a huff with them all day.

It means you fancy the arse of him but don't realise it yet...either that or he has developed some hocus pocus mind fuck trick ala 'Inception'

I had something similar last night. A girl I work with, who is not unattractive, but I've never fancied, was in my dream last night and was completely naked. There was nothing more to it than that, but I can barely look her in the eye today. Why is my mind making me feel so guilty

I'm thinking it must be a hocus pocus mind trick - this was definitely not a secret lust situation!!

A guy I used to work with told me one day that he'd said my name while asleep one night and his wife laid into him the following morning over it.

Coincidentally, around the same time, my OH told me that I had said "It doesn't matter if he's married" while asleep :P

Occasionally I have sex dreams about girls I don't really find attractive and then have a big crush on them for about a day, it's pretty weird.

Not a dream per se, but I was hurtling out of control down a ski slope once and all I could think of was my annoying neighbour showing off his skin tight new ski suit to me earlier that day. Couldn't get the image out of my mind at all.

Can we change it to "Wet dreams about people you know".

I think you find the age gap in the public sector isnt as much an issue as say in the private sector. Here is why.
The more senior public sector workers are good earners and probably used to swilling wine and fancy talk that would woe a younger fancier; whereas the private sector folk would be more family bring home the wages kind of sort.

I have a friend that I fancy the arse off of. He may have an idea, I'm not sure. I don't think he's going to do anything about it because he knows I'm with someone at the moment, even though he's single.
I'm supposed to be meeting him tomorrow for lunch. Had a very filthy interesting dream about him last night. Have no idea how I'm going to look him in the eye tomorrow!
