monitor for gaming with xbox 360 and pc in year or so??

hi any advice on what to buy without spending a ton of money?? seen few in argos for about 100 would a monitor generally be better than lcd tv for gaming??

any advice will really be appreciated

The two LGs you linked dont have HDMI connectivity listed on their product page if that is an issue.

They are bog standard monitors for the most part, if i was buying now i would get something like this with a decent IPS Panel (same as the Dell 2312HM monitors)

More expensive, its cheaper by amazon themselves if you can wait for ti to come back into stock

Would you recommend a monitor for use with the 360? Or should I just buy a small tv?
