Recommendations for paint scuff/ scratch repair

Picked up my silver 2008 E60 a couple of weeks ago.
When I went out at lunch some colleague/ scumbag/ assh0le had driven into the back when trying to park and left a paint scuff around 2 feet long on the bumper.

It doesn't feel too deep, but looks bad enough. It was only a matter of time I suppose before someone did it.

What are people's recommendation for scratch repair/ paint scuff removal?

Would appreciate your input as it's not large enough to need a pro job.

    Photos would help.

Back at desk and on mobile so will get some this evening.
It's not deep, more of a scuff than scratch.

Looking for general recommendations for whatever products people use.
