Live in Charlesland Park. Extractor fan has gone. Replaced bulbs and fuse to no avail. Also horrible smell coming from it (has been for quite some time now). Had a look up in the attic but can't make sense of the pipes so no idea what belongs to what! From other people's older posts it may be that grease has collected/built up in the pipe. Can someone recommend someone who will fix the extractor fan and sort out the smell. Is it an electrician I need, a plumber, a handyman or divine intervention?!

Is their power at all to the hood? The fuse you changed was it in the plug top or spur supplying power to the hood or in the hood itself? The burning smell could be the motor of the fan if it's getting stuck. I'm an electrician in charlesland but it more than likely is an appliance repair guys job (more specialised in this area) or a new hood if not worth repairing it. Pm for numbers if stuck :)
